Marathon Archives and related info
To the surprise of many (myself included!) in 2002 I ran in the Marine Corp Marathon. I trained with a group raising money to support a local nonprofit that provides services to people with AIDS. The links below will take you to my training journal, the race day story as well as a list of the people that sponsored me by donating to the AIDS Marathon.
Since 2002, I've been active in a number of short distance local races. They have all been for fun (not competing to win). In 2004, I trained with a different organization and ran in the 2004 Marine Corp Marathon. I did not keep a journal or raise money for charity for this race, but you can look up my time still!.
