And more Albania Pics. Interesting factoids - after the fall of communism, lots and lots of businesses sprung up, illegally on land they had no ownership of. The government has begun to crack down, but the problem is widespread. Right smack in the middle of downtown Tirana, is this illegal building (picture below). NOT illegal, but oddly colored, is this building on the streets of Tirana. (picture below) Another building shot in Tirana. (picture below) And yet another funky building photo. (picture below) This particular funky building is the Ministry of Agriculture. Most of the central government ministries look like this and are located adjacent to or across the street from the Ministry in this photo.
